International Paris Airshow - Le Bourget 2015
The famous Le Bourget Air Show started on the 15th of June. The VAMT team visited Paris to link up with partners OTTO FUCHS, WEBER METALS, AMAG and AluUnna at the Air Show in Paris. We also had fruitful meetings with our customers from China, like AVIC and COMAC.
Altogether it has been a successful time in Paris, conducting constructive discussions with existing and future new partners.
Last weeks Paris Air Show facilitated firm orders and commitments for 914 commercial aircraft.

VAMT and Otto FUCHS participate in COMAC supplier conference

COMAC Supplier Conference 2015 was held in Shanghai form March 17-19. All participants were given a tour of COMAC's final assembly line for the C919 on March 17. On March 18 COMAC Management gave an up-date of the ARJ21 and C919 development and progress, followed by individual group discussions.
New BDLI Member
VAMT has recently become a member of the German Aerospace Industries Association (Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie e.V. – BDLI). With more than 215 members, the BDLI, represents the interests of an industrial sector, which owing to international technology leadership and worldwide success has become a significant driver of economic growth in Germany. Combining almost all strategic key technologies, the German aerospace industry with a directly employed labor force of around 105,500, achieves an annual turnover of currently Euro 30.6 billion.
Communication with political institutions, authorities, associations and foreign representations in Germany is a major task of the BDLI, as well as a variety of services in Germany and abroad for its members. The BDLI is responsible for organizing the ILA Berlin Air Show International Aerospace Exhibition.
The BDLI is officially accredited to the German Bundestag where it performs specific, legally embodied tasks. The BDLI is a member of the European umbrella organization ASD, Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe, and the Federation of German Industries (Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie – BDI).

From 11. - 16. November 2014 VAMT took part at the Zhuhai Airshow. We were very pleased seeing the numerous attendance of our partners: Otto Fuchs, Weber Metals, Tital, Alu Unna, AMAG and Hazet.
The various meetings, open talks and new contacts made it a successful and valuable exhibition for all of us.

Successful Commissioning of AMAG's Hot Rolling Mill

On September 9, 2014, AMAG successfully commissioned its new hot rolling mill in Ranshofen, thus achieving the most significant milestone in the large-scale EUR 220 million investment project on schedule. Through this expansion, the company can increase its capacity for the production of aluminium plates and hot- rolled sheets by 50%. At the same time, the range of products will be extended to include larger dimensions, and greater emphasis will be placed on high-strength special products. For example, AMAG is going to offer rolled products with a maximum width of 2,300 mm and plate with a maximum thickness of 150 mm. The new products can be applied in the aerospace industry, in transportation and mechanical engineering, especially in wind power plants, which are AMAG's key growth sectors.

Voss Aviation & Motion Technology Ltd. will attend the Zhuhai Airshow 2014.
It will start on 11. November 2014 and goes on until 16. November 2014. The Zhuhai Airshow is the largest Aviation Show in China and will give valuable insights in the current market and upcoming developments.
